In memory of Mary Tom Rasco Crain (1918 - 2009)

In Mary Tom's young adult life she worked with various youth groups such as Girl Scouts and PTA. She was a CASA supporter, member of the Light of Hope, and devoted her last 30 years to the arts and culture in Amarillo, including the Amarillo Opera, Lone Star Ballet, Amarillo Museum of Art, Amarillo Symphony, Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum, and the Texas Panhandle War Memorial. She was an 80 year member of Polk Street United Methodist Church and a member of the Sandie Hall of Fame. Mary Tom was a scholar and world traveler, endowed with a pioneer spirit. We will always be grateful for this unique, gentle lady and wonderful friend who possessed extraordinary wit and charm.
