It has been my honor to be associated with CASA as an advocate since 2003 and the Light of Hope since 2005 when the auxiliary was established to provide support for CASA. This year (2011-2012) our goal is to encourage volunteer retention by recognizing the volunteer of the month, providing "swearing in" parties, remembering each volunteer with a small gift card on his/her anniversary date of advocacy and underwriting the volunteer banquet in the spring.
The Light of Hope offers yearly membership of $25 or life membership for $250. We encourage anyone who has an interest in becoming a part of CASA or the Light of Hope to call the CASA office at 373-2272 for more information. There are many opportunities to serve the neglected and abused children in our area and none is better than CASA and the Light of Hope.
